In order to minimise waiting times, appointments are necessary. This allows us to be as prompt and efficient as possible.

Appointments are necessary to minimize waiting times and ensure prompt and efficient service. Please note:

Appointments are required for all services, including general consultations, prescriptions, referrals, and travel advice

Each appointment is for one patient only. Please inform us if you are booking for a long consultation or additional family members.

Appointments cannot be made via email.

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please let us know in advance.

We strive to minimize waiting times, but delays may occur due to emergencies. We appreciate your understanding.

We offer home visits to patients who are unable to come to the clinic due to illness or disability

For patients within a 5km radius, we offer home visits for palliative care and less mobile patients during operating hours. Urgent after-hours home visits are available to regular patients only and may be bulk billed.

During Operating Hours:

Available to regular patients only who cannot make it to the surgery due to a medical condition. These services may be bulk billed.

Urgent After-Hours:

Please call 137425 and state that you are a patient of Hornsby Mall Medical Centre.

Referrals and Prescriptions

Hornsby Mall Medical Centre aims to accommodate our patients as best we can. Therefore, we provide home visits to patients known to the surgery, within a 5km radius, in cases such as palliative care patients and less mobile patients.

Referrals:

Referrals to a specialist may be made during your consultation. Please ensure you book your specialist appointment promptly as standard referrals are valid for one year.

Prescriptions:

Prescriptions may be written during a consultation. If you require repeat prescritions, please book an appointment to see one of our doctors, where the condition for which the prescriptions are written can be checked.

Bulk Billing:

Consultation standards, including normal hour home visits, are bulk billed for Medicare Card Holders.

Fees apply for non-Medicare Card Holders. Prices vary, however, our basic charges are as follows:

Short Consultation - $49.00

Standard Consultation - $80.00

Long Consultation - $130.00

Please note, Saturday after 1pm and all day Sunday fees are at an after hours cost, After hour Short Consultation : $100.00 ; Standard consult $140.00 and Long Consultation -$180.00

We accept cash, credit card and eftpos. All cards are accepted.
